Women’s tennis

Trinity College women’s tennis junior Hillary Hoyt was named to the NESCAC All-Conference Second Team as a singles player for the second year in a row. Trinity, coached by Wendy Bartlett, was 10-6 overall and 4-3 in NESCAC, closing the year with a 6-0 loss to Middlebury in the NESCAC Championship First Round. Hoyt was 11-6 in singles playing at the top spot in the Bantam lineup.

Men’s tennis

The Trinity College men’s tennis team, coached by Paul Assaiante, was 9-8 overall and 5-4 in the NESCAC in 2011-12, closing the year with a 5-0 loss to Bowdoin in the NESCAC Championship First Round. Trinity senior tri-captain Anson McCook was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III All-American Team. McCook also graced the NESCAC All-Conference Second Team as a singles player and joined first-year partner Ned Mandel on the All-NESCAC Second Team in doubles. McCook was 15-6 in singles and Mandel/McCook was 10-7 in doubles in 2011-12.
