Richard “Dick” Lyford ’53 Chairs the CSGA Summer Events Committee

The Colorado Senior Golfers’ Association has been in existence since 1935, making it one of the oldest continuously operating senior associations in the nation. The summer event schedule, now a long-held tradition, is headed up by the CSGA Summer Events Committee. Dick Lyford is the chair of that committee, and he was recently honored by the association for more than 20 years of service as a former president, board member, and summer and winter events chairman. The CSGA also presents trophies to top competitors at its annual tournament, including the Richard T. Lyford Jr. Trophy. “Our association is filled with dedicated golfers who always ensure a great turnout for our events,” says Lyford.
